HammerHead™ is a lightweight, battery operated and Wi-Fi enabled portable contactless reader. The unique design and build in capabilities, position it for payments not only at point of sales counter, but also allow the operator to process payment at the table that will improve operational efficiency.
Utilizing the latest AVR chipset to power the Hammerhead allows Hammerhead to process complex calculation and algorithm, going beyond high performance and low power consumption. Equipped with high capacity memory to support heavy buffering process for example file caching and image processing.
The Smart quick on/off magnetic switch built into HammerHead™ powers up the device once it is removed from its holder and ready to use on demand. The low power requirement of the device coupled with a quick switch/sleep/wake-up cycle conserves batteries for prolonged use. Programmable function and numeric pads with haptic feedback allows for fixed and variable transaction amounts to be specified for quick and easy use.
The Hammerhead has been certified EMV Contactless Level 1, Visa payWave and MasterCard PayPass. Also, APIs are provided to access Mifare, ISO14443 Type A, Type B and NFC interfaces which increase the flexibility of Hammerhead as developers are able to develop their own software running in Hammerhead to support their card system.

HammerHead™ V3 is an upgrade version to V2 to adapt fast moving technology change in payment industrial. It equipped with 2.6 inches touch screen, 4G technology, and built-in QR for mobile wallet transaction. On top of that, it uses high processing power chipset with low power consumption to further extend the usage cycle.
Ultra-low power ARM Cortex-A5 core based MPU device, support multiple memories, including DDR3, Crypto Engine for on-the-fly encryption, PCI pre-certified. A rich set of peripherals, user interfaces, and robust security features simplify the design for POS terminal applications. The low-power features is ideal for wearables and battery-operated device.
